First things first. I’ve rewatched the War climax like… 17 times. So no surprise I’m counting down the days for War 2. Ayan Mukerji is directing (yup, the Brahmastra guy), and this time Hrithik isn’t just going solo—he’s joined by Jr. NTR.
Let’s be real. That pairing? That’s blockbuster fuel. Throw in spy gadgets, stunt choreography that looks like it belongs in a Marvel flick, and exotic sets—you get a movie that knows it’s The Moment. Jr. NTR apparently wrapped up shooting weeks ago (TOI). I am so ready.
The Naked Gun — Liam Neeson… doing slapstick?

Okay, I had to double-check if this was real. Liam Neeson is starring in The Naked Gun reboot. Yup, the Taken guy. He’s playing Frank Drebin Jr., which already sounds hilarious because, well, can you imagine Liam delivering a punchline without threatening someone?
Akiva Schaffer is directing. Pamela Anderson’s in it too. The vibe? Old-school parody with modern awkwardness. It might totally bomb or become this decade’s cult gem. Either way, I’m showing up just to see if Neeson can make me laugh instead of stress-sweat.
Freakier Friday — This isn’t a drill, Lohan and Curtis are BACK

Revolver Rita — Keerthy Suresh with a gun. That’s it. That’s the pitch.

Revolver Rita is one of those films that you hear about and immediately go: “Wait, what??” Keerthy Suresh plays a gun-slinging, no-nonsense woman in a world that looks like Quentin Tarantino went South Indian.
Dark comedy? Check. Gritty slow-motion moments? Probably. A wild, unpredictable lead performance? Hopefully. I don’t know what to expect—and that’s what makes it fun.
Eenie Meanie — The con is on

Eenie Meanie is a psychological thriller with Samara Weaving in the lead, and honestly, that’s all I needed to hear. She plays a former con artist who gets pulled back in, and yes, I’m already seeing betrayal, tension, and one hell of a final reveal.
Cleveland is the setting (which, okay, random), but it gives the whole thing a very lived-in, gritty feel. If you’re into mind games with style, this might be your thing.
Honey Don’t! — Ethan Coen gets weird, again

This one’s for the “I saw it before it was cool” crowd. Honey Don’t! is part of Ethan Coen’s eccentric “lesbian B-movie trilogy” (yes, that’s a real thing), and features Margaret Qualley, Aubrey Plaza, and Chris Evans in roles that sound… delightfully unhinged.
It premiered at Cannes. It got weird reviews. It might make you uncomfortable in the best way. Either way, I’m intrigued.
Coolie — Mass cinema at its loudest and proudest

Coolie is what happens when you take Rajinikanth, give him punchlines, and let Lokesh Kanagaraj direct the madness. Shruti Haasan’s also in it, and the title alone screams throwback.
Think ‘80s masala with modern visuals. It’s not subtle. It’s not trying to be. And thank god for that.
The Bad Guys 2 — More animated chaos incoming

If you liked the first one (I did—it was surprisingly clever), The Bad Guys 2 will probably deliver. The same cast is back, and from what we know, the stakes are higher, the heists are bigger, and the jokes are still zipping along.
Honestly? Perfect for when you want to switch your brain off and just enjoy the ride.
Dhadak 2 — Don’t judge it by the name

I know, I know—Dhadak 2 sounds like a sequel we didn’t ask for. But hear me out: this one’s directed by Shazia Iqbal, stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, and is based on Pariyerum Perumal, which is a heavy, beautiful film about caste and identity.
